Alta Mountain is most famous for one quirk: Only skiers are allowed on its slopes. What you sacrifice in Alta snowboarding, however, you more than gain in local atmosphere.

"Wonderful cabin for a quiet and peaceful summer get-away! 10 minute walk to start of Brighton Resort hiking trails and short drive to all other trails in the area, all of which were beautiful with plentiful levels of difficulty (easy, moderate, and hard trails can be found). The cabin had the essentials we needed, which were adequately listed in the description, and Jami communicated what we would need to further consider picking up (such as groceries) in advance for planning, and was prompt and thorough in his communications. 25-ish minute drive to the city to pop into a grocery store if something was needed. "
Beautiful End-Unit with Private Balcony and hot tub + pool.

"Bright room with large windows on two sides. Kitchen was great and well supplied. Balcony was nice to have in the evening. Host communication was prompt. "
Beautiful first floor STUDIO apartment including hot tub + pool
10/10 Excellent
"It was perfect for our trip; 7 days for a mountain bike race! It was cute and close to the race venue with a little over a 1/2 mile walk or a chair lift that was a little walk as well. My only issues were lack of A/C and the amenities (pool and rec room) closing too early. The ceiling fan was actually very good, but a small box fan fan in the window or a small countertop oscillating would have been perfect in the early evening. The pool and hot tub were great, but closed up too early. 9:00 pm. Even just adding an hour would have made it a little more enjoyable. By time the race scene was over each day and we ate dinner it didn’t leave anytime to relax in the hot tub before they closed it. The staff was friendly, and the place was very clean. The VRBO manager was very responsive to any clarifying questions I had while there. Thanks for the great place to call home while in beautiful Solitude!! "
